Actual Precentage Given to Completion of Final Fantasy XIV

The usually secretive Square Enix sat down with Chinese website 17173 and talked a bit about the ALPHA testing of the latest installment in the Final Fantasy series with Senior Vice-President Hiromichi Tanaka, and the director Nobuaki Kotomo. Among the new topics discussed was the current ALPHA beta of Final Fantasy XIV, being administered in Japan, North America and Europe.

During the interview, Tanaka joked that American players were more demanding than the European and Japanese players, where Japanese players could be seen as 'soft'. There had also been trouble accessing the server from all regions--but of course, this can be expected with the beta of the game getting off the ground.

And in a rare moment, it was revealed that the game was 65% complete. It was also said that after the PC beta was stabilized, the PS3 beta would be the next priority.

@Moklin

Video game completion seems to go at an exponential rate. Don't worry, the game will probably be complete by the end of this year.
